Very friendly staff greeted me and helped store my luggage.
My bed was clean and comfortable, particularly the fluffy and warm comforter.
Shower and toilet were clean and ensuite.
Plenty of lounge space to relax and good dining area.

The staff were very friendly and offered info re transport, sights and entertainment. I liked that a small group of us could buy a ticket to the baseball game from the hostel counter, so easy to do. The meals were excellent....loved the free vouchers. Beds were comfortable and company of fellow travellers was great.

My host was very friendly and personable, offering up lots of advice. The hostel was equipped with far more amenities than I was expecting, including an array of bath and styling products, and the breakfast included in the fee was delicious and cooked for my personal dietary needs. The owner was great, i was a late check-in guest, but she was waiting for me in front of the door and welcomed me warmly.
Also there are some cosmetics, shampoo, body wash, dryer and napkins. I was impressed and I can say this is perfect for girls. (Actually, this is girls-only B&B)

Two bed rooms are great for those who want a budget option but a step up from a dorm. Well equipped and clean throughout, with the little touches that make a difference like space to hang/put clothes and towel while in the shower and individual bed lights (in 2 bed rooms, didn't see dorms!). This is an inexpensive, amenity free place to stay with a good downtown location. If you aren't familiar with the area make sure that you glance at the exterior photos of the building. Moved to this hostel after having problems with another one in the city. This one was great. Very very clean! The bathrooms were great, it was nice to have privacy and space when you needed to shower, the downstairs common room is comfy, the kitchens had everything you needed and the wifi was pretty reliable. Heating was great in the rooms. -

Neill-Wycik College Residence is definitely a budget stay, but there should be no complaints for that. The rooms are small, but well maintained. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The location is fantastic and the prices excellent.
