Proximity to Stanley Park as well as downtown was ideal. Since we
didn't have a car, we walked everywhere. Safeway is just a few
blocks away making it easy to walk to our place with groceries.
It's a beautiful, safe neighborhood as well. Also, we had an
simple maintenance issue and once reported, the staff had it fixed in
just a few minutes. Friendly, helpful staff. I would absolutely stay
here again.

I will definitely be back to Lord Stanley Suites next time I come again to Vancouver. Everything was so good. Staff was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in Lord Stanley Suites. I would like to take this opportunity to thank David who has become a buddy to my 5 yr old son. My son wont forget the high fives he did with David. In room laundry facilities was a God-send, after spending weeks in coin-op laundries. Location is fantastic - there is an excellent Chinese restaurant on the same block (Dynasty) and an excellent coffee roaster almost directly opposite. 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of bustling Robson St. Complimentary parking is something rarely offered in Vancouver and this place had it. Granville island markets are accessible too from a close by ferry for
$3.50 and buses no 5 and 6 to downtown stop outside the door. For $2.75
we caught the no 6 bus to the sky train that took us out to the airport
in 45 mins. Saved heaps in taxi fairs and was easy. Great affordable

The main advantage of Riviera is location: right in the middle of Vancouver's beautiful downtown, 10 mins walk to Stanley park, 5 mins to waterfront, etc. Room are surprisingly spacious for a hotel and come with full kitchen (stove including). The hotel was old but modernized. Great entrance with the ivory color
theme. The bathroom was retiled, new fan, and matching floor. Despite I
ordered a single double room, I was not charged extra for my sister
staying with me. For the price of $79 before taxes, the room was a great
value. We were accessable to the Lagoon and the Outdoor Jazz
Festival...only 3 blocks away on Robson Street. What a great part of
