  Everything!!!! Especially the hostess! She went out of her way to make this visit an memorable experience!   Beautiful heritage property in the upper old town of Quebec City, within the old city walls. Balti the owner is very hospitable and a lovely lady. She makes the breakfasts herself and does a fantastic job. Her English is very limited and you definitely need to speak at least a little French but it's good fun! The room itself was a good size and we were at the top of the house f - The host was amazing! She welcomed us in right away, helped us with parking, offered us something to drink, and gave us directions to where ever we wanted to go. She let us decide when we wanted to have breakfast and it was always ready at that time. Her breakfast were really good and healthy. All in all, the bed and breakfast was nice, the host was very nice, and the location in Quebec City was the best. Close to everything! I recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Quebec City.   Annabel was super nice and friendly and very helpful. She has a delightful personality and looked after any question or request quickly and with a smile.   Central location in the old part of Quebec City. Close to all of major attractions of Quebec city. Our room had 15 or 16 foot ceilings and was very airy and bright. - This location was perfect. So close to everything. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

  I was expecting a two star hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe in relation to its luxury neighbouring hotel it is a 2 star but in my experience this hotel would be at least a 3 star. It's over 180 years old but you would never know it based on how immaculately clean it is. Last, the staff were wonderful and the service was amazing; it is so refre - My flight was delayed and I arrived very late and the hotel staff was kind enough to stay up and wait for me to arrive, then carried my 38 lb bag up three flights of stairs to my room. The following day after I checked out the staff allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel while I shopped and had lunch, then called a cab to take me to the cruise port. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and I enjoyed my stay and hope to return for another stay in the future.
