beautiful view from the window, many beaches close by. very quiet and relaxing.
The island is beautiful regarding ocean, mountains, location of B&B.
It would be an appropriate place to stay for guests who match the age and lifestyle of the hosts- particularly older people who go to bed and wake up early.
It was convenient. Unusual in that most places were booked out very early...alla recensioner »
Lack of restaurants and amenities.
It was not possible to sleep in- the latest breakfast time was 9am.
The house and particularly the bedroom smelled strongly of mothballs.
The food servings were relatively small portions.
There were a lot of rules and restrictions about how and when the common space and amenities (hot tub and TV room) could be used.
The host had not noticed our booking and was not prepared for our arrival. We did not feel welcome or comfortable in their space.
Denman Island is not a destination. There is nowhere to eat after 5 pm. So a bed and breakfast facility isn't really any use...
