  The hotels location had you close to everything but not in the middle of it. The hotels pool was large and not crowded.   The hotel building is so lovely. All carved in wood, beautifully decorated. The pool is fantastic and the staff is absolutely adorable. The room on the other hand, very disappointing. But on the looks rather than anything. It was squeaky clean which is good enough for my but for the rate (for Cambodia it was an above average price) I was expecting... vad folk säger » more. The bathroom (which is actually a wet room) could use some improvement. Nevertheless it had a very comfortable bed, great aircon an super clean - This place is a beautiful, spotlessly clean Khmer style luxury B & B. Beautiful rosewood furniture and carvings, white polished tile floors.The rooms are spacious with A/C & Fan, and fridge, lovely bed and furnishings. The staff are friendly and helpful for everything. Beautiful rooftop swimming pool with great food at the restaurant. Really cannot fault this place, I just got bored with the limited choice of breakfast (included in tariff) after a few days, but not a complaint.

  The location was brilliant (especially if you get a bus from Bangkok with the Transport.co because they drop you off about 50m away) Pub st is only a few minutes walk though. Easy to arrange a tuk tuk for Angkor Wat. The bedroom was spacious, Cable tv was very much appreciated for when I got sick and had to rest up for 24 hours. The day we checked out and was minutes away from a shuttle picking us up to take us to the b - This was our fourth stay in Somadevi and after having mentioned a few problems during the last time we stayed with them, we got a royal treat. We were upgraded to the new part of the hotel and the rooms there are REALLY very nice. Big bathroom, nice flat screen TV with lots of channels. Super. And as usual, the fantastic buffet breakfast included in the room rate. I don't know a better four star hotel in Siem Reap; and I have stayed there extensively during the last 15 months.

  The hotel was a calming influence amongst the surrounding husstle and bustle of the town. The staff were without exception well trained to pander to any requests and their enthusiasm was a joy. - We very much liked the colonial architecture and the authenticity of the hotel.   The staff was amazing. They helped us organize all of our activities by contacting the companies and also arranging transportation for us. There is a small pool that is perfect for an afternoon cool down and some relaxation. The roof top bar has a great view and the food is delicious, especially the breakfast. This is a perfect destination for people who don't want to spend too much money, - Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Very clean and tranquil, even if it is full booked. Great breakfast, good pool (a must if you go in summer). Also good and necessary drinking water every day. Location is good, close to Siem Reap center, but not so much so you can hear the noise. Good and cheap food options just a few steps from hotel. Highly recommended.

  We were very pleased to have booked a place in this little paradise. Set in a luxurious garden, the bungalow we had was perfect for our trip: a retreat to come back to after braving the heat at the temples or the bustle of the night markets and pub street. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. they organized a free airport pick-up with tuk-tuk at the airport and a cheap private tuk-tuk drive for 2 days in the Angkor Temple area.   I wasn't a typical Siem Reap visitor, as I only stayed one night as a layover for my flight to Sihanoukville. However, one night is enough to realize the hospitality and friendly management of the place. The location is also a big plus, literally 10 minutes after your plane has landed, you are in your hotel room.   We liked the hotel so much that we extended our stay. The city is great, Tuk-Tuk is arranged for you so you can visit all temples with a sunrise (the driver was waiting for us at 4.30 a.m.). Shopping mall is a 100 meters away, so it's a bunch of good Japanese and local restaurants with local specific dances. - Arranged Tuk-Tuk service that picked... vad folk säger » us up at 1a.M. from the bus station. Also when we were waking up really early to see Ankhor Wat sunrise they made us a packages with breakfast. Good laundry service as well.
