  We arrived following a 3 day trip on buses and boats, so the arrival drink and cool towel was a welcome start to this relaxing hotel. The room was amazing, plenty of space in both the bedroom area and bathroom, including complimentary drinks. It was my partner's birthday during our stay and although I'd emailed ahead and requested a small birthday... vad folk säger » cake, I didn't honestly expect anything to happen, however, he was greeted with a birthday card from the hotel, and an amazing cake was delivered to - A beautiful hotel with wonderful rooms but let down by the noise from the rooms above....from early evening throughout the night and again morning. Stayed 4 nights and each night was spoilt by heavy stomping feet above, scraping furniture and echoing movement. Maybe carpet is needed? I emailed in advance to ask for a high room but was given 2nd floor. I questioned this during the booking in process but was told that there were no rooms (suites) available on higher level floors.
