Hotel Daleen’s is nestled in the very heart of the old, cultural town of Bansko, where it fits in perfectly with the traditional architecture of this beautiful historic place.

The hotel strives to lower its CO2 footprint by creating a “green hotel”. Guests will be informed upon their arrival of the systems which are in place for this action and also how they can assist contributing to this matter.

The building, originally built in a traditional style, has been recently renovated and is now a stylish, modern and discerningly decorated hotel. The quality of its spacious and comfortably furnished rooms will by far exceed your expectations, as it offers a variety of accommodation options with elegant and comfortable rooms with many amenities. All have their own heated bathrooms with showers, basins and toilets.

The staff at the reception desk will provide you information about ski-hiring and passes, the best restaurants to visit and any advice regarding Bansko and the surrounding areas. During the ski season a bus will transport you to and from the ski lifts.

We pride ourselves in the quality of our accommodation and our hospitality, and we speak English, Bulgarian, Greek and Russian.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea available 24 hours a day. Room was well furnished and clean. Staff was helpful and polite.Shower was a little primitive which was a shame as the rest of the hotel was recently refurbished to a good level. Bathroom was small (but clean..) . Our room was not warm enough.

The hotel has its own lobby bar where breakfast is served in the mornings and where you can enjoy drinks in the afternoon and evening, after returning from the slopes. In the bar we specifically promote the local wine, beer and other drinks, as we believe they are of exceptional quality. However, if you prefer, many of the well-known brands you are familiar with are also available.
Breakfast can also be pre-packed after the arranging with reception.

Information about the area

Bansko is Bulgaria’s number one ski- and snowboard destination, thanks to the excellent ski facilities combined with the unique architecture and history of the town. It also has the best snow record and the longest ski season in Bulgaria, from 15 December to 15 May. Bansko is however more than a ski resort, as summer activities and the fresh mountain air attract more and more summer tourists.

It is a picturesque town with many historical buildings, narrow winding cobblestone streets and interesting walkways. Numerous “Mahemas”, or taverns, where food and wine are not only delicious but very affordable, are found throughout town. Bansko is located 160 km from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, and just bellow the highest and most beautiful part of the impressive Pirin Mountains.
South of Bansko, the Pirin National Park is located, with Vihren, which is at 2915 metres above sea level, as its highest peak. The park has over 180 lakes and it is becoming increasingly popular as you can go hiking, cycling, parasailing and experience other adrenaline sports there.

Travelling information

Bansko is located approximately 170 km away from Sofia Airport and the transfer takes about 3 hours. The easiest way of arriving is by contacting us so we can arrange the hotel shuttle service and should that not be available, we will assist you with a special transfer arrangement.
