  Excellent location - right across from beach (hotel had its own tent for guests) and flea market; good service in restaurant/room service; free internet - Very well located towards Ipanema end of Copacabana. View from front rooms is the classic postcard shot of Copa beach. This comes at a cost though as traffic noise from Av Atlantica is load and c... vad folk säger » onstant.   Its location is very good for the best beach and safety in Rio area. The staff is so nice that you don't have to worry about anything though they cannot speak good English. My special thanks give to the staff who found and returned the scarf my wife forgot in the restaurant. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400.   Personal både vid frukost och front desk är mycket trevliga, all personal var mycket hjälpsamma , Frukosten mycket bra , - We loved the staff at the Ipanema Inn. Everyone there spoke English and were extremely helpful in finding excursions, transportation, food etc.. Breakfast buffet was amazing and you can walk to the beach. Hotel provides umbrella and towels to chill on the beach for free. This is a great place to stay and will do it again. - The hotel has been refurbished, is clean, comfortable and the staff and breakfast are great. It is close to shopping, restaurants and close to the beach. Most of the staff speak English. We had a spacious family suite with a terrace and beach view. Also, the a/c unit was quiet and the shower was good too. - Hotel staff very attentative and helpful. Probably the best value for money in the area. Breakfast simple but sufficient. Same as the rooms. Although I stayed in a room with street view, there is no noise. Definitely a good option for those who want good location and good service without being ripped off.

  We stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time. The hotel looks old but our room was nice and clean. You should know that most of the hotels in Rio are old .the staff were friendly and helpful. But the best part is the location , it's in one of the best part of rio which leblon shops and restaurant are in walking distance.
