  Hotel Veraneio is walking distance from the airport. The member of staff on (24-hour) reception spoke good English, having once lived in London.   The hotel is very clean with ceramic floors and has no mold which is a plus for someone that suffers from severe allergies like I do. It's right by the beach and very close to the shopping RioMar( the newest and best mall in Recife) The staff are nice and helpful. - The rooms were large & spacious and modern.   The hotel is right on the beach. The rooms on that side have wonderfull views. At night i slept with the windows open to listen to the surf. Many of the staff spoke english, and were attentive to my questions. Recife is a beautiful town with lots to do and lots of history.   Right from the start this was a great experience with a gracious, welcoming check-in process. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, good linens and towels, and a great view of Boa Viagem beach. The food ordered up from room service was excellent, as was the great breakfast buffet (cafe da manha) they served.
