  I was a bit worried, after reading some negative reviews here, but the hotel was actually quite good, for Rio standards at least. The standard room I had needed some redecorating for sure, but it was very spacious and had a fantastic city view.   Personalen vänlig och hjälpsam, bra hotell om inte det vi påpekat i nästa ruta hade inträffat. - Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. Pool and Sauna (in Brazil!) at the top floor is highly recommended. - Extremely convenient location right by Ipanema Beach and nice restaurants and shops, The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for sightseeing advice. Our room on the Ipanema Floor was really lovely, nice modern furnishing and fantastic view of the beach. The hotel restaurant is really good and the breakfast was also excellent.

  The staff at Augusto's were phenomenal. Fantastic customer service. The staff are what made this hotel worth the money. In particular Yuri and LIsa.   The welcome at the front desk and the contact with all of the staff was excellent. Extremely helpful and provided suggestions as to the museums we should visit. Price reasonable comparatively speaking.

  I loved my stay at Mirador Rio Hotel. The staff is awesome. Very corteous and friendly. Specil kudos to Thiago and staff at front desk. Great location; three blocks from the beach if you ae traveling under a budget. Breakfast is great! You can't miss their Pao de Queijo! (cheese balls!) Waiters also rock! and Ton, bar tender is a Carioca-Nordeste ... vad folk säger » character! Also athousand thanks to Monica who helped us change our reservation! - I was there for carnival. The Hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach, could have been closer but cant complain weather was really good. The reception staff was very helpful in getting information of stuff happening in the city. Overall a pleasant stay

  Great hotel very helpful and friendly staff. Good location only a couple of blocks to the beach. Would return without fail if I was to visit again on Copocabana Beach.   Bra rum, tyst (för att vara Rio), bra takterass - Frukosten och toalett/hygien artiklarna var bra. Takterassen var trevlig.
