  I loved my stay at Mirador Rio Hotel. The staff is awesome. Very corteous and friendly. Specil kudos to Thiago and staff at front desk. Great location; three blocks from the beach if you ae traveling under a budget. Breakfast is great! You can't miss their Pao de Queijo! (cheese balls!) Waiters also rock! and Ton, bar tender is a Carioca-Nordeste ... vad folk säger » character! Also athousand thanks to Monica who helped us change our reservation! - I was there for carnival. The Hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach, could have been closer but cant complain weather was really good. The reception staff was very helpful in getting information of stuff happening in the city. Overall a pleasant stay

  Great hotel very helpful and friendly staff. Good location only a couple of blocks to the beach. Would return without fail if I was to visit again on Copocabana Beach.   The welcome at the front desk and the contact with all of the staff was excellent. Extremely helpful and provided suggestions as to the museums we should visit. Don't miss the "National History Museum". The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and very welcoming. Room was bigger than I expected. I suggest using the fan while c - A well-equipped hotel in good location (close to beach and to Metro). Spacious room with sleeping and living area separated by a sliding door. Very good (though somewhat noisy) air condition, kitchenette, balcony, ... all you need, and very clean and quiet (except a/c). Good breakfast. Friendly staff, but not all of them understand English.

  This hotel was better than what we expected after reading comments from travellers posted on the web. Our room (number 404) was refurbished recently; the sea view was gorgeous; the breakfast very good. The receptionist who was on duty the night of our arrival was polite and helpful... - Staff wonderful can not fault anyone of them they are profes... vad folk säger » sional friendly and helpful. Rooms and all areas are hyper clean have stayed before 4yrs ago and if we go to rio again this is where i will stay. We had a superior sea view room.

  Fantastic hotel and close to Copacabana beach and other attractions. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly too. Breakfast was really good too and the room was nice and the bathroom was great also. Nice pool at the top of the hotel too and view. - It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Minibar wasn't a rip off unlike many other hotels we'ver stayed in.I Would stay there again.

  Nice breakfast and good location. All in all nice hotel but a little expensive for what it is (swimming pool is small, restaurant is small). Safe and hairdryer in room (rare)

  Fantastic position in betweem Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. We had the master suite which was perfect if you are travelling with a grown-up son. Fantastic view over the sea and Copacabana! I was jogging barefeet along the waterline every morning! Faboulous! Still it was easy to reach shops and the city centre by underground. Nice people working... vad folk säger » at the hotel. - The hotel is directly at the beach and within an easy walk to Ipanema and Arpoador, both of which are nicer than Copacabana. The sea can get a bit dirty at this end of the beach but then it is a 5 minute walk to the above.
