  - Lovely people, very nice and helpful staff, always eager to please and caring. - Good quality for the price (for Rio standards). The rooms are clean, in good shape and well equipped. - Good location, quiet area, but at the same time, close to the beach, the subway and the bus stops. - Nice and clean hotel.   This was a great hostel to stay in, gave me and my friend a real insight into the side of brazil you dont normally see, the favelas. To my surprise it was totally safe staying there with police on every corner and a police station right next door to us. Staff were really helpful in showing us around the area and answering any questions we had. The view from the hostel lounge was breath taking and - Best hostel i have ever been to!awesome stuff, clean and stunning views. BUT its still in a favela, so its something for adventure people
