  We liked everything, especially the nice romantic dinner. All the staff where really professional and at the same time very friendly. - The rooms were magnificent The food was outstanding The owners were really friendly and spoke excellent english

  The whole establishment was clean and tidy, the staff helpfull. The bedroom was on the second floor, had a view over the Museum and we could look at the rolling hills beyond. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The bar was old, welcoming, the dining room was tastefully furnished. There was a comprehensive menu, the food was very good.   The food at the restaurant was outstanding, it appeared mostly local. The room was perfect and the staff very friendly, helpful and patient since I only spoke English and no French. I rented a mountain bike from Coo Adventures just down the street from the Hotel and spent three days touring around the area. Breathtakingly beautiful. It has been a ... vad folk säger » dream of mine since I was a teenager to visit this part of Belgium and everyone at the Val de la Cascade helped insure I had a wonderful time. - I was staying in the annexe what is completely renovated and super clean. In general personel I had to do with was very friendly, spoke dutch and French without any problem. Yes I think it's worse going back. People complaining now should see the shrink
