  Highly recommend this B&B the owners were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay, Alain is a mind of information about the local area and recommended an excellent restaurant on our first night, the breakfast was wonderful too.   The excellent location near the city's center. Very friendly and helfpful staff and the fantastic medieval decor within the hotel. I can only recommend this hotel! - Everything - the location, the room, the service, the breakfast, the cleaniness. Exceptional front desk staff. Will be heading back in the next few months.

  The Ariane is a beautiful hotel we could not fault anything about our stay, in fact we have booked to return next year. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious. We traveled with our teenage daughters who are studying WW1 at school and they feel the trip has helped them with their studies. If you do not eat in the restaurant within the Arian - The greeting we received when we arrived was very welcoming - this 'set the scene' for our experience of the hotel. We had hired a car for our exploration of the area, so were very glad that there was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and very clean. It was a very easy walk to Menin Gate and to the town itself! We have been traveling around Europe for a month & stayed in many hotels - the Hotel Ariane was one of the best.   Everything and I'm not exaggerating. The review score on letsbookhotel.com is 9.6 so far for a reason, because this place is truly amazing. The location is perfect as it is right next to the canal with the Church of Our Lady right across from the canal.
