  We were instantly felt welcome by the friendly accommodating staff. The breakfast the following morning was of good quality and served in our room provided a lot more privacy - great when travelling with children.   Having tried many hotels in Mechelen, and needing to stay when a conference was one, I booked this hotel. I arrived late in the evening, but my key and paperwork were ready, so I was able to nip into the dining room before it closed. The menu is small, but has some unusual items to try.
