  The staff was really extremely friendly and helpful. I never had a breakfast (in a hotel) that was prepared with so much care. Simple hotel, but really pleasant, especially because of the staff. It was only a 5-10 min taxi ride from the Eurostar station. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was superb - delicious and a wide variety of items. - The suites are spacious, and the beds very comfortable. It was easy to check in and out next door at the Renaissance, staff were very pleasant and efficient. A cab stand was a block away, and often cabs were in front of the Renaissance. The neighborhood was interesting, quiet, unthreatening, and convenient to Brussels attractions.

  I think having such a lovely welcome from the owners to such a nice apartment is very rare. I was usually placed in a hotel for work purposes, never again, I would love to return and often in the future. The other people living in that area be it in the apartments or bistro's and shops around were so lovely and helpful.
