  Kurt and Laurent were fabulous hosts and the apartment is where they lived while the renoveated the rest of their wonderful home, garden and B&B rooms. They offered a great breakfast every morning for only 5 euro with a variety of delicious fresh rolls and pastries, fruit, cereal, juice, yogurt, cheese, etc. The even baked a pizza for us one n... vad folk säger » ight as he apt does have mico but not oven. Apt is very comfortalbe, bright, spacious, well outfitted. The front double window/door lets in a lot of l - Such a lovely place with a very friendly owner! We had a large apartment (stayed in 1-bedroom-apartment with no balcony or garden), everything was stylish and new and clean. Breakfast was offered in owner's dining area which was cosy and lovely. Very delicious, too - with fresh strawberries. We'd go there back for sure!

  Our stay at expo 13 was just what we needed for our stay in Ghent, it was close to the train station which meant our journey and moving around was very simple and straightforward. The room was warm and the bed very comfy for 2 tall adults. We had a kettle and nesspresso machine in the room with free herbal teas and coffee, brits take - We loved Expo 13! Kitty and Didier were wonderful hosts and made our stay in Gent a perfect experience. Their newly renovated B&B in a beautiful art deco town house is really a lovely place. The rooms are wonderful and the breakfasts gorgeous. Every detail is taken care of and Didier is always there to help with any additional information you might need (in any language). We initially planned to stay for two nights and move on to Antwerp, but then fortunately were able to extended and used

  The staff were extremely helpful and most welcoming. Room was spacious, comfortable and included tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Although it is not in the city center, the walk to the center is quite nice - alternatively the guy at the reception explained that there's a tram that stops just... vad folk säger » round the corner. There's also a park up the road with a nice playing ground for young children. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during - Hotel is convenient to train station (2 min. walk) and city center (10 min. tram ride or 20 min. walk). Hotel owners are professional and friendly, and work hard to make guests comfortable and to orient them to the city sights. Rooms are clean, comfortable, updated, and spacious. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Friendly atmosphere. Neighborhood quieter than you'd expect given its proximity to train station, but there are plenty of restaurants and conveniences near-by. I'd gladly stay here agai

  Ann was terrific. She is an attentive host. We had been traveling for several straight days and needed to do laundry. She would not hear of that since it would take away our sightseeing, so she did our laundry for us! The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was enormous, and the breakfast excellent. The bed is comfortable, the room is quiet despite being on the front of the house. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious.

  The hotel is an attractive, nicely restored mansion that is close to train station ( walk in 15 minutes) and the tram or bus to get to the old city is only a block away. Take tram 4 from the train station if you do not want to walk to the hotel. Get off at the 3rd stop then walk one block. After a day of walking, my wife was not up to walking to any local restaurants so he - The reception by the staff was very friendly and informative. The building was fancy and the rooms are large. The hotel is situated in a large mansion which used to be a number of things in the past and is nicely transformed into a (mere) fifteen room accommodation. The king- sizey bed was excellent and the bathroom was nice. We also had a great time in the City of Ghent, which we had a nice walk to (about 20-30 minutes) and returned from by tram.   This is a wonderful BandB, which we can recommend to anyone visiting Gent, It is decorated with stylish antique furniture, and rooms and bathrooms are large, quiet, and very comfortable. Fresh and tasty breakfast is served in an equally charming room. The room was stunning, with lovely wooden furniture and a really traditional feel to it. Breakfast was very good. Sauna, sunbed and an antique bath were incredible and unexpected extras.
