  This was our second stay at the Nieuwhof. Very comfortable and restful, excellent breakfast. Ideal for an o/n stop near to Calais or a longer stay to visit Ypres, Verne or Diksmuide or Bruges - The location for peaceful break.The B&B was beautiful, new, fresh & very comfortable.   Very very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service. Good food at reasonable price. Very clean hotel, pretty design, very new and modern. Close to the beach (3 minutes). Close to downtown De Haan (10 minutes). Plenty parking places around the hotel. The family room offers plenty of space for 4 people. Hotel is newly renovated (summer 2012) and family run. Service is impeccable, rooms minimalist and comfortable, breakfast is delicious and overall 'ambiance' a delight. We had a family room, with two completely separate bedrooms. My twins teenage daughters loved the place ! I really felt like the stay was worth every euro spent...!
