The premises were very, good allthough some people may think they are a little out of the way thatt is not correct. They are very close to the local tram line which is a 3 minute ride to the U3 underground line this takes you straight into central Vienna. A four day travel pass that allows travel on all buses, trams and underground cost only 17.50 Euro. Great apartment. Market is less then 100m from there, also gas station. quite big apartment with 2 rooms and big kitchen. Terace with great view. Apartment is at District 10, so parking on street is for free. Bus station is in front of building and to center you need 5-6 minutes by car. It has two double beds (one in each room) and also one sofa.
alla recensioner » The apartment that we stayed in is well situated, being a short walk from tram 1 into the centre and also tram 6 to Westbahnhof station. It was comfortably furnished and clean. Also the roof terrace was great for sitting watching the sun set over the Vienna skyline. It was very clean and well-organised and furnished; it looked exactly like the one in the pictures; it had everything needed for a living (incl. vacuumcleaner and an iron); the service of the Star-Apartments team was exclusive. Great apartment, very spacious and comfortable. The bus station was right outside the door and leaded to the metro station in less than 5 minutes. We had a very pleasant stay and I would surely stay there again. Apartment was lovely and clean. Free Wi-fi was much appreciated. Contacts with the agency were very easy and simple. Very good value for money and would highly recommend to other travellers. Small appartment but had all we needed. 10 min walk to metro station so good location for city break. Also 10 min walk to wien berg park which is great for runners. Easy access to downtown through tram or metro. Quite spacey, with excellent WiFi. Everything you need is available at the apartment, like iron, hairdryer, etc. The room is very clean, the environment is very quiet. The location is OK. The price is good. A bottle of mineral water for free. The apartment is really big for a 2 persons. It is beautifully set up and furnished. Washing machine, microwave, and TV made it a very attractive place to stay compared to a hotel. Bed very comfortable!. I lived on the street"Van der Nuell Gasse"，the price is quite nice, small but clean, kitchen equipment is very qualified. The apartment looked good. Separate bedroom to living area. It's clean and comfortable. It is a fourth floor apartment and the lift seemed not to be available. I did notice a spare key on the door key rings. It was not until the last day that I discovered by watching a resident that the lift was key operated. I suggest that the owner just leave a small note to that effect. Also I am used to Vienna however new visitors would probably appreciate a little hand drawn map and information on the tram stops for 66 and the U3 to start them off. So no criticism just helpful advice. There is no door betwwen two rooms (removed because of the closet). There is no air condition (it wasnt so hot, but if it was it can be a problem). The kitchen, although well equipped with appliances (toaster, coffee machine etc) could have done with a few basic items such as tea towels, sieve, measuring jug, which would have made life a bit easier for a minimal cost. We didn't like the district but we understand it was not Star-Apartments' fault. The street was very noisy. nothing. The apartment was roasting hot. We had to use the fan because the heating could not be controlled. The location is far from the centre of Vienna, and although there is a tram close by (which runs rather scarcely), the subway is a good 15 minutes walk away. The neighbourhood is fairly safe and has decent shopping and activities but the building is a bit run down and there is not not much open after 6pm, apart from restaurants/bars. 1. The key-holder was late for 25 minutes without a call(she had my phone number) , until she arrived, she didn't apologize, just said some excuses which didn't make any sense instead. 2. The bed was terribly soft, never had a good sleep in that 14 days. 3. The hot water can only last for 10 minutes, and after 10 minutes it goes cold, and you have to wait for more than 2 hours to get hot water again...totally terrible in snowing winter in Vienna. Fancy spa shower was broken. Washbasin light fittings broken. Ironing board provided but no iron. Bed side light broken and had no socket available to plug it in. No sink plug so washing up was difficult. The location is far far away the metro station.
