Located in the centre of Mellau in the Bregenz Forest, this 3-star superior hotel offers a sauna, a steam bath, and a balcony in every room. The ski bus stops right outside Hotel Engel. The Engelstube restaurant serves Austrian and international cuisine and a breakfast buffet with a selection of organic dishes. Half-board includes a 4-course dinner with salad and cheese buffets. The Engel Hotel’s spacious, traditionally furnished rooms include satellite TV, a safe, and a bathroom with hairdryer. The lounge features a tiled stove and provides free Wi-Fi access. Guests can relax on the sun terrace and use a ski storage room. An indoor pool in a guesthouse 100 metres away can also be used by guests. Ski passes are available at the reception, and free private parking is available on site. The Schneereich Damüls-Mellau-Faschina Ski Area can be reached by ski bus in 5 minutes or in a 10-minute walk. From 01 May to 31 October, the Bregenzerwald Card is included with a minimum stay of 3 nights. With this card, guests can use all public buses, swimming pools and cable cars for free.

Vad folk säger

Very good service and care. Excelent and wide variety breakfast. Great value half-board diner with 5/6 courses and choice. Friendly staff and owners. Center of the village with busstop in front (but therefore at some distance from the main ski-lift. You can't have both). Nothing, but most guests were of older age then us. So consider that if it is important to you.
