I am in total agreement that Storm Bay Guest House is "exceptional". Its own website says this is one of the best Guest Houses in Tasmania and I don't think that is any exaggeration or boasting. From the moment you arrive you will be made welcome and at home and the views are to die for (I stayed in Bay View room). Gary and Bev are extremely convivial hosts, and offer free port and chocolates in the evenings. Breakfasts are healthy and tasty, and rooms are lovely. It seems that most people.

The house is very beautiful, the rooms nice and comfortable but the views are the best. They are breathtaking! Breakfast was amazing, the best that I ever had in any bed and breakfast. But what I specially like is the personal treatment that the owners have with all the guests. I strongly recommend to stay in this hotel if you are planning to visit the Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur. The stay at. we stayed in the blue room which was lovely beautiful views upon arriving thought we had cooking facilities but had booked the b&b within minutes we had a bbq at our disposal and everything set up to cook even did our dishes. The breakfast was great more than we needed and hosts are a wealth of knowledge would definitely recommend a stay. In traveling quite a bit in Australia, this was by far one of the top best places we stayed! It was very clean, very welcoming, cozy and comfortable and we loved the view from our room and loved visiting with everyone over a delicious breakfast! Absolutely loved staying here and we will definitely be staying here again!. Everything about Storm Bay Guest House & Cottage was fantastic. The real stand-out point though is the quality of service. Wished we could have stayed longer. leaving. Very far away! The website said it was 45kms from Hobart but it was actually an hour and a half drive. Room fairly small, difficult to work with 2 suitcases. Water not pleasant to drink. Nothing. nothing. Nothing it was all good. Nothing - everything was perfect. Cold rooms.
