  My favourite hostel where I always stay in Sydney, probably stayed there for 2 months in total. Location is perfect, staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean in general. Scary Canary is downstares and that is one awesome bar! Always make some great friends when staying at X Base! - Base Sydney is the best! I went to this backpackers twice.   The location couldn't be better, in front of central station, very close to the bus to Bondi beach, very close to the free bus to Quay.... Loved the roof top and the possibility to make there a lot of friends and the constant friendly environment.... Loved the fact the hostel provides all kind of information to tourists and help in everything and ... vad folk säger » specially loved the thematic nights the hostel organises, with movie night and also hotdog or burgher night where we can eat very cheap and all togeth - The staff were wonderful, very nice and helpful and the location is ideal being close to Central Station and all forms of public transport to get around easily. We also found that the guests there were great too, they all seemed to be really nice and friendly people. All up a really good place place to stay and would definitely book with them again. :)

  Laget var bra. Nara till allt - Good location, good price, nice and quiet. - despite the exterior of the hotel (that was not really gorgeous, to be honest), rooms and communal areas are very nice (and new!!)

  Super near to the central station (60 seconds walk)! Easily access to any city from here! You can buy lotsa things from Paddy Market, walk back, put your things down, and walk back out again and buy again... :) There are many pubs and eateries here in this area.   This place is in a great location, the staff are friendly and always available to help. They were happy to extend our stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and there are loads of bathrooms to shower any time. - Just a few steps from the beach

  The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The location was really good and if you're feeling super lazy you can pay 44 dollars for a week long pass for all the public transport in the city centre. The staff worked really hard to try and keep the place clean, shame that was ruined five minutes later by some disgustingly filthy people! - We stayed ... vad folk säger » one night and it was perfect for what we needed.   I usually stay here when I visit Sydney. It's right in the heart of the CBD and very cheap.   We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere... Soraya at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to keep family in one room after I changed booking at the last minute. Awesome location, next to central railway and monorail.

  I like very much this backpackers. It is located near from several tourist places of city as Opera House and Botanic gardens Walk. This backpackers is very safe, therefore I recommend widely. - Love how everyone was so social compared to other backpackers that i've been too. Dave was a great entertainment liaison!

  This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross intense nightlife area. About 20minutes walk from thr Queen's gardens and the Opera House, 30mins from the piers and city center. - People where friendly.
