  We stayed at the Meriton Apartments - World Tower for a girls weekend away. Travelling from Melbourne & Brisbane we were looking for something central and comfortable. World Tower more than exceeded our expectations. The beds & pillows were to die for. Our 2 bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean, more than spacious and had a fantastic ... vad folk säger » view. There was no noise from other rooms and although they don't have a restaurant, there are plenty of restaurants & cafes at your doorstep. Som - Excellent place to stay when in Sydney. The apartment was wonderful with an excellent view of Sydney from the 63rd floor. Facilities in the apartment was complete. Location is strategic, near bus stops and within walking distance to a few train stations. Of all the apartments that I had stayed in a few countries, this was the best so far. In fact next year we plan to stay here again when Airasia x has its special fare to Australia again.

  be warned if you are expecting the hotel grandeur and modern and packed with guests, this hotel is not what you are looking for. However, the intimate and cozy feeling, plus the fine elegance of the deco all offer a nice and comfortable stay. Above all the staff were courteous and always made you feel welcome and as if we were regular customers to the hotel.   I love everything about this hotel and can't imagine staying anywhere else when I'm in Sydney. The atmosphere, the character, the style and the wonderful staff. I recently had to return there at a distressing time, a funeral, I was upgraded to a beautiful waterside room, a bottle of ch - The location , the great spirit of the staff reflected in their work ethic and translated back to me. I stayed 6 nights with my sister as her birthday treat with valet parking. We also had Room service for some meals and enjoyed some good movies after our long days of rediscovering Sydney.   Our stay here was perfect. Having stayed in the Campbell Street Meriton before we knew the quality was great but we were looking for something closer to Surry Hills this time. Danks Street is a great location just far enough from the city to escape the hustle bustle and enjoy some boutique shopping and delicious food. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the neighborhood was an area which was in the process of being upgraded and our immediate area was all done and people living all around the hotel area.   At last Sydney has a hotel connected to the International terminal for overnight stays when international connections are the next day. Sound proofing is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant and the food and wine list were surprisingly good. We were delayed a day by a cancelled flight due to a typhoon in Hong Kong, and the staff changed our booking without fuss, and were extremely helpful re our flight home, which also had been changed. I thought the room was very cleverly designed, with powerpoints, mirrors etc well placed. Extremely appropriate for an overnight stay in between flights.

The front desk staff were very nice. The beds were comfortable. It was central to all the things you'd want to be close to in the city but there was no noise from the party goers outside.   Modern rooms, very clean. Self-contained units--everything you need to cook and do laundry. They even supply laundry/dishwasher soap daily. Excellent location, very quick walk to Town Hall and Museum (no lifts) stops. Our family of 3, including a 14 month old, had no problems traveling to/from the airport on the train with our bags from this hotel... vad folk säger » . The cot the hotel provided for our 14 mo son was fine. He slept in it without complaint. Complementary internet was very good. 1GB/day and excellen - The views were great and accommodated the 5 of us very well. The shops, the Rocks and Darling Harbour were literally on the door stop. Staff were friendly and very helpful - I had accidentally left a make up bag behind and called up 10 days later to see if I had left it behind. It was found in housekeeping and promptly mailed back to me. I would recommend the Meriton on Pitt street to everyone, my friends and I are already planning our next girls trip and happy to have our accommodation sorted!
