the friendly welcome from the manager. who also explained what was free on the breakfast menu ( simple ) and excellent. The staff member who was most friendly , happy and efficient. Just around the corner from the pioneer settlement. I would highly recommend. Good old- fashioned style country motel, with good old-fashioned breakfast and free wifi included in the deal! Great pool to cool off, within walking distance of all the sights.Spotless, very comfortable, with all required amenities and value for money.

The shower, the TV and the electric blankets.Smallish but quaint and adequate rooms for our overnight stop before returning to SA. The free poached egg and bacon breakfast. Quiet, comfortable and clean. I have stayed in a few Swan Hill motels while travelling on business and this was by far the best value. Complimentary cooked breakfast was a nice touch. Recommended. Peter, owner, was helpful to a fault. Very friendly and welcoming. Good hot water supply and plenty of coffee and tea. Took notes to replace light globes when we advised him. Some one taking our car parking spot outside of our room but such is life in the country.. There didn't seem to be a hair dryer in my room, although the fitting was there. There was nothing to complain about. Nothing. Bedhead was uncomfortable and awkward for sitting up in bed as the top juts out and is very easy to bang your head against. Carpark is also quite difficult to maneuver around when full. Booked the motel for $85 but paid $90 on checkout. My wife paid the bill and I didn't find out the extra charge till later. No big deal paying $5 more, and would still have stayed there, but either false advertising or an honest mistake. I would hope the latter. Nothing to dislike. Room could do with some modernizing but not a serious concern. Couldnt open a window and found it quite stuffy, we had to put air cond on which took a while to work out as there were no instructions. There was no microwave in the room. Woke up at 3Am because something was switching on/off all the time outside my room. Payment should be done thru booking .com so you don't have to pay at the motel (big surprise when arriving). The very shaky toilet that rocked when you sat on it and the hot water that took forever to get to the shower. Once it came through it was excellent!. There was no conditioner in the dispenser, and a beverage with breakfast would have been nice. tight parking - did not matter. Fairly compact parking area. The centre carpark was to small, if car parked both sides there was barely enough room to get to the rear units. Extremely noisy refrigerator that cycled every 4 or 5 minutes, sounded like excavations in room. Unable to sleep with this constant noise.. Finally turned it off to get some rest. Parking a bit tight. Very happy with whole setup. Nothing , it was all good. Parking can be a bit of an issue. There no microwave. size of the tv screen. heater not hot enough. The airconditioning in room 6 was very noisy when turning itself on and off during the night. The shower - it was awkward to get into - large step. I would have like someone to come in and clean up the room while we were out at some stage and replenish the milk and coffey and I am diabetic so some other sweetener would have been good. the toilet was broken although still usable and the room was rather small and the parking was difficult to exist from. Poor parking space. Noise from other rooms,. No free wi-fi as advertised and staff on duty didn't know how to fix it.
