  We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. Our room had lots of space for our little one to zoom around in his walker & was at the far end so nice & quiet. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome.   We stayed at the Holiday Inn because we needed somewhere close to the airport as we had an early flight in the morning. On our our arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member, I think her name was Sarah who assisted us with all of our needs. We had a room on the first floor which was modern, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for somewhere to eat o - Having heard some negative reports about this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find it particularly good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room quiet, comfortable, and relaxing after a long flight. Both the evening bar meal and the buffet breakfast were very good and reasonably priced. I would consider using this hotel again, when travelling through, or to, Sydney.

  Laget var bra. Nara till allt - Good location, good price, nice and quiet. - despite the exterior of the hotel (that was not really gorgeous, to be honest), rooms and communal areas are very nice (and new!!)

  I never write reviews... But for this one, I make an exception. It's à nice hotel for people who want privacy and who want to arrange everything by theirselves. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, comfortable bed! There is à kitchen, where you can make your own breakfast. And bathrooms, although shared, are clean. Moreover, cheaper restaurants are nearby, instead of the restaurants - The Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were neat and facilities were good like the common kitchen and Wi-Fi. TV, Iron Box, Kettle, Coffee / Tea Sachets and fridge was available. The hotel was secured with a secured lock in the front. The location and Transport access is aver big plus point. I have seen other backpackers or hotels nearby but this hotel really stands out to be classy for the money spent.

  We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere...   Great location and view of Darling Harbour and Paddy's City Market. Although it is some distance to the Rocks and the Opera House, it is walkable and can see a lot of things on the way.   The family room was very spacious. Apart from the 2 single and a queen bed, there was also a lounge. Kids enjoyed the afternoon in the pool. The hot breakfast was huge and delicious and so reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. we even received a 5% discount voucher for our return visit.   We really enjoyed our stay at El Paso, the staff for friendly especially the lovely couple who run the restaurant they gave us tips of where to go site seeing and restaurants. The location was a total bonus we didn't use our car the whole 4 days we were there except once when we drove along the beach side to view the lookouts, beaches & lighth... vad folk säger » ouse. Breakfast was nice and simple, room was clean & comfortable, really liked the fact that the room had air con aswell. I would recommend this - Location is ideal (particularly for Glasshouse). Good beds, reasonable facilities, although the buildings are shabby. Breakfast is ok, but water for tea/coffee should be heated before breakfast time. It was always lukewarm until well after opening hours (this should be in not like section)
