  We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. Our room had lots of space for our little one to zoom around in his walker & was at the far end so nice & quiet. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome.   Most importantly, we were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the beds. Though the bathroom was dated and in average condition, the main living area had been newly refurbished and the furnishings were impressive. The room was large and everything worked. Staff were friendly and helpful.   The main reason we booked our stay at the Whale Motor Inn was due to the gluten free options at their in-house restaurant and it didn't disappoint! Best 3 course GF meals we have had in many years. The staff were really helpful and on hand to help us, even though their houses were at risk. This is a great location for all of the sights. We requested something for the room and it was immediate. There is a good choice of food available

  I found the accommodation to be far better than most. The management were in hand to make sure my room was ready even though I was late arriving.
