We stayed at the Hastings Vally motel to visit an eldery relation. We found the motel clean and comfortable, and good value for money for a family with 2 adults and 2 children... Staff were fantastic It was quite Was close to town Was a very good experience Room had everything I needed I would book again planning on returning at some stage. The room was very good value for the price. The management were very friendly and efficient. Ideal for a one night stay at a budget price while travelling.

The Motel was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities for a great stay. It was close to everything!. Excellent staff that were helpful with information about area. Looks like family run business. all facilities were adequate for our needs. t he greeting i got when i arrived,. Good value for money. Clean. Beds in particular were firm and comfortable. The owners wife was nice. The free WiFi is a bit weak, we had to sit outside the room to get a reception.. Rooms were a little older but that's nit picking really as they were clean and I had a great stay. Nothing to dislike, just as I was expecting it to be. Bit out of the way in regards to downtown area or beaches when traveling on foot. All good. Nothing. Wifi was temperamental to say the least. Had to sit outside of room to connect to interent. no vanity only basin and small shelf in bathroom kitchenette could do with an update. Nothing. Space in the room. We started out in unit 7 but the air conditioning wasn't working, so we were changed to unit 4. Unit 4 had nicer carpet and flooring but the air conditioner did not work either. Dated beds and mattresses. Noisy taps adjoining rooms. mould all over the bathroom roof walls makes it feel sickly needs new paint job n some repairs would not stay there again. Outdated decor and furnature. Wifi was bad. There is reason why it was one of the only rooms left in port. It was noisy with who ever was in appartments upstairs sound like indoor soccer until 2 am they charged 50 a night more than it was worth. There was also a light for parking within a metre of my bed and draps can not fully close light stays on till mignight. The room smelled awfully old and they called it a family room but it was very tiny with bunk beds shoved in....no where to cook and a small table with only 1 chair so nowhere for us to sit and eat....very squash and uncomfortable...would never stay again.
