  We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a spa on the balcony. Apartment had everything we needed was clean and the spa was a nice relaxing addition. The bed was more comfortable than my own. The owners Sheryl and Bob were lovely and advised us on tours and booked us into them. Would stay at the Regal again if I were to return t - Sheryl and Bob are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always willing to have a chat and pass on their experience of port Douglas and the activities in North Queensland. The room is enormous! Lovely king sized bed. Good lounge and dining facilities. The hot Tub on the balcony was an unexpected bonus. The pool area is very nice although there are some quite big and unexpected drops in the pool floor levels. Regal is ideally placed 25m off Macrossan St. It is a 3

  Bruno and Toni were absolutely fantastic. They organised all of our excursions, even to the extent of working out an itinerary to get the best out of our week. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and very clean and the location was stunning. Thank you Bruno and Toni for making our week so great. - Toni and Bruno were great hosts. We arrived early in the morning and were able to get into our villa which was great after a night flight. The villa we were in was very spacious and clean and well appointed. Especially loved the skylight in the top bedroom where you can lay in bed at night and see the stars framed in the overhanging coconut palms.The location was excellent, 2 min walk to the beach and a few minutes walk to the main shopping area.

  Beautiful two bedroom apartment with large living area, and good kitchen and laundry. Soft beds big bathtubs. 4km from the city centre which made it quiet. Staff were great. Free DVD movies including some for the kids. Cheap esky hire for a picnic. Safe for the kids. Two pools, one fully heated and one partially heated. BBQ area. Golf course next ... vad folk säger » door. Three nights was not enough, should have stayed longer. - Lovely tropical retreat atmosphere with bird song being the only "noise". Very welcoming and helpful friendly reception staff. Lovely pool in natural rock setting. Only slight drawback is the 6 minute ride into Port Douglas centre but this is more than offset by the tranquility and lush surrounbings of the resort.

  Stayed at VSM first two weeks of October. A beautiful spacious apartment in A Spanish style; clean and cosy. Very happy with our room number 42 at the back of the block, as it was quiet and the balcony very private. VSM is at the centre of Port Douglas surrounded by a great variety of eateries for all tastes and budgets. I can recommend the Quicksilver trip to the Coral Reef, Tony's Trop - Excellent location right in the heart of main street, with shops and restaurants a short stroll from the apartment. Apartment was very comfortable and clean, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Host was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

  This hotel was fantastic- we stayed in a double room with spa-bath for 3 nights and loved it. Port Douglas is a small relaxed community but is a great place to stay, and we used it as a base to travel to the great barrier reef as the Marina is only a couple of minutes down the road from the hotel. Would throughly recommend it. - Hotel entrance was on main street in Port Douglas, next to shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants, and yet so peaceful, clean, well equipped and spacious. The apartments are away from the busy street, and yet everything thing is so accessible. Nice pool for a swim after doing the local tours. Hotel owner was extremely helpful arranging tours, always had time for helping his guests.

  Great accommodations. Very well maintained and great size. We had a 3 bedroom apartment for a couple and two friends. The living room was a great size and the balcony offered an additional relaxation point. The kitchen was well equipped with all the basics. We had a car and got our own little garage to park in. Pool was great with a bbq and table for dining while the kids swim. The 10 minute walk to town was pleasant and shady and 4 mile beach was only a short walk away.

The property was not a massive resort and was well secure. The management were very friendly and accommodating.A pleasant walk into the shopping precinct with a shuttle bus at reasonable cost at end of day.

  The room was a great size Great shower mind you getting in and out of the shower over the bath bit was a bit of a mission :) Overall it was great and would stay again, nothing that a another persons eye to go over with the spot cleaning Loved that it was right in the middle of the main street - The location was perfect for us.
