Richard was very welcoming and offered to make a booking at the local gourmet restaurant for us.He also offered to take us to the restaurant and pick us up (a staff member did this as he was unavailable)The facilities were modern and clean. Really lovely studio, very nicely appointed. We had a studio with hot plates, a microwave & a reasonably equipped kitchenette. Not all the rooms have this, & I think others may also have an oven. The owners were also very welcoming.
alla recensioner » Alison and Richard were the best of hosts. The facility had all you could want, luxury rooms with every thing for the discerning traveller. Our friends who also stayed at Must loved the facility too. Really good service - booked a table for dinner, and even gave us a lift when the taxi wouldn't answer their phone. Close to vineyards, and useful advice about places to visit. Very well equipped room, ideally located for exploring the Coonawarra region. The hosts were very helpful and interested in what we would like to do during our short visit. Lovely spot to have a few days and explore Coonawarra and Penola. Friendly and helpful owners with goof local advice. Great design. Lovely local pooch!!!. Friendly and helpful welcome. Convenient location for Coonawarra and Naracourte visits. The only downside was the lack of a 'flimsy' curtain which meant that there was no privacy when the curtains were open. Otherwise it was great. would like to have a microwave. there was nothing at all. perfect. Not a lot. Couldn't stay longer. I know it was for relaxation but a table to read paper s and use the laptop would have been nice [my comments only]. I chose a one-bedroom suite, which had no food preparation facilities but had a refrigerator. Since no breakfast is available I think a microwave and toaster is mandatory. Also, TV is too high on wall - should be lowered. Staff didn't provide enough information about the area and its attractions. Minor issue but should think having bedside lamps. The overhead down lights were too bright and intrusive. Too cold - heater not very effective on extremely cold nights. N/A. There were not a lot of food place. 3 remotes for TV & Sound system. Noisy in the morning - very thin walls and oddly placed television in the lounge (sore neck). This hotel is located right on the main highway so it is best to ask for the units farthest away from the street. Continental breakfast was forgetable...go someplace for that. Shades on main windows gave little privacy and let in too much light. The reading light was too high up and bright. A small bedlamp would be much more appropriate.
