  When I saw that the Alexander is beside a busy roundabout I feared the worst. I was delighted when I entered my room (number 21) to find it double glazed, cool and oh so quiet. My room contained a very comfortable queen bed and a comfortable armchair. Perfect for a little getaway. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I will stay there again. - I really appreciated the willingness of management to assist with some issues we had. Doug went well above and beyond to help with a communication problem we had with business.

  We booked a twin room but because they were not busy upgraded to a family room for a cheaper rate than our twin room - Good size room. Clean towels and bedding. Staff very helpful.
