  We always stay at Wine and Roses when we are in Maclaren Vale, but this is the first time we have stayed in The Retreat. As always Patrice is the perfect hostess and as usual, everything was fantastic. Looking forward to our next stay in May 2014.

  Loved the accommodation. It was a beautiful, clean and comfortable place to stay. I was really impressed by the decor, thoughtfulness to detail, the barbeque and outdoor area was all very nice. I particularly loved the complimentary port and bottle of wine. I was also very impressed with the generous continental breafast of cereal, bananas, st... vad folk säger » rawberries, yoghurt and freshly baked bread with an assortment of jams etc. - The cottage was very quaint and cosy. It had charm and ambiance . A very cute place to stay with everything you needed. The setting was very peaceful just what we wanted. Dee was a delight. Definately coming back Barb & Phil
