  it did what i wanted , a cheap clean comfortable room in the middle of sydney, i was well pleased with it , no matter where i go in the world i use travel lodge , - It was a very nice hotel. The room was large and comfortable, maybe the bed was a little bit hard. It was very quiet. Staff was very helpfull.

  Hotellet ligger centralt. Mycket rent rum och trevliga personal. Kan rekomenderas 100%. - The room is a great size. The view from the 12th floor was amazing. The kitchen was small but had all the components to self cater. The breakfast suplied had toast with butter and condiments plus cereal and milk with fruit and juice.The hotel is within pleas... vad folk säger » ant walking distance through Hyde park to the Museum, St Mary's Cathedral, the Art Gallery, China Town and city shopping. Buses and trains only footsteps away. We were given a late checkout 11am on request. The parking was tight but adequate - Great location. If you want to get the airport train and have suitcases then consider getting off at St James instead of Museum station if you don't want to lug cases up loads of steps. St James station is not far and has a lift. We had a very large, modern, comfortable family room with qs bed, two singles and a small lounge, dining table & chairs. The beds were really comfortable and the decor lovely. The breakfast provided was basic but all we needed.

Overall staying in this neighbourhood is a colourful suburban / urban experience.   Great location, right in front of the metro station and close to bars and night clubs. It's also the red light district of the city, but it didn't bother me. The metro line is the one that goes to Bondi beach and the walk is nice to the city center as well. Hop on hop off tour is very close-by as well.   Very friendly & accommodating staff. Facilities great, stayed two consecutive nights in a studio twin & two bedroom apartment. Very well appointed, comfortable rooms. We moved to the two bedroom apartment, so Staff moved bags between rooms for us while we were out, which was fabulous customer service & very much appreciated. Awesome location, close to darling - The location is perfect! With a short walk (<5mins) you can take the light rail to central station and the bus stop with buses to circular quay (including 555) just in front of the hotel! Haymarket and chinatown are about 5 mins walk from the back door. Room is big ( for 4 pax), clean and nice! bed is extremely comfortable and the price is reasonable ( ~aud 700 for 4 nights excluding weekend)! - One was not pressured into early rising to please the housemaids. We slept in late every day as you should on holidays. The near shopping centres were wonderful as were all the food courts and restaurants.There is no shortage of entertainment near by, as well as cruises in the harbour, sight seeing etc. The staff were friendly and curtious and we will definitely be returning on our next holidays.
