The location , the great spirit of the staff reflected in their work ethic and translated back to me. I stayed 6 nights with my sister as her birthday treat with valet parking. We also had Room service for some meals and enjoyed some good movies after our long days of rediscovering Sydney.
We felt welcome. The location is simply stunning and uplifting.

The staff welcoming us at 9am said our room was ready and we could park and go straight up. This was the best news as the International Fleet Review was our reason for staying. We could get on with enjoying the spectacle immediately, getting to the Harbour with just a short stroll to get a prime position. Nothing was too much for the staff at all.

We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but had no problem getting to our room. When we got to our room one of the builders who was helping to renovate the hotel said that we were unable to get into our room - so we got an upgrade to a family room for free! The staff we very apologetic. Our room was good as we were in a section on our own, rarely bumped into anyone at the shared bathroom. The TV has a great choice of channels. The staff were 100% friendly and professional. Always pleased to accomodate. One morning we witnessed the 'egg chef' loosing conrol somewhat & hope that within our view of his team members supporting hi, it helped his situation and that all is good there. The location was fantastic, very easy to find your way to many of Sydney's activities. The hotel itself blended the historical building with ultra modern fittings tastefully. The bedroom was adequate and the ensuite was a decent size. The shower was large. The room we stayed in was able to be dark with the blinds down for a sleep in. It was just a 2 minute walk from the train stop that runs all the way from the airport in just 20 minutes. Very easy to access.
Friendly staff. Very clean. We had a room with shared bathroom and it was very clean and big + for the Molton Brown schampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathrooms :)

I loved the view, and the good sized balcony. I loved that there was extra milk in the fridge, most places I always have to ask for more, though there wasn't enough sugar (we are big coffee drinkers). The spa didn't work so they gave us free dinner in the restaurant as a compromise, loved that! oh and the bottle of bubbly sent up to the room after i mentioned we were celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday was just lovely, thank you! :) very happy

We had obtained a smartdeal for the Four Season for our last trip to Sydney. Apart from the value for money, the hotel was in a great location for a city visit to Sydney, pleasant staff, very comfy room, excellent house-keeping, L'occtaine toiletries and we took advantage of the gym and outdoor heated pool too. Some reviews had complained the hotel is dated. I wouldn't agree. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back.

Just loved how close it was to the ferry terminal, made it so close to the city and Darling Harbour but no crazy crowds! The location is fabulous. Beautiful view. The hotel is positioned almost on top of North Sydney railway station which is very convenient - we weren't disturbed by the odd rumble of a train passing outside. We stayed in a double room with a harbour view on the 12th floor. Staff were efficient and friendly. It was sheer pleasure to stay at Quay West! The Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive and bent over backwards to be helpful.
I ordered Room Service breakfast which was delivered hot and on time and it was everything and more than I expected.
