Very comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Staff offered us a reasonably priced upgrade to a harbour view room which we accepted. Beautiful room on a high floor and lovely view. Great bathroom with separate shower which I prefer. We had a room service late snack which arrived promptly. Quality of food was average but as we only had the mushroom soup other options could have been tastier. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices for a a wide variety of cultures.

The hotel was spotless in an excellent location of Sydney. The area was safe & friendly. The concierge staff & in particular Troy gave invaluable advice on how to get the most out of your trip to Sydney. The hotel design is unique, the situation to shops, retaurants, Darling
Harbour, OperaHouse,buses, trains etc. is convenient. The bed was fairly
firm, certainly better than 99% of other hotels.The concierges were
extremely helpful too.When the sign to service the room is placed on the
door, one's room is cleaned etc almost immediately! A very pleasant

We found the hotel to be great - its location, staff, and comfort would be hard to beat. We certainly will be returning. The room we had was a corner room that faced out to the park which was lovely and it also had a extremely comfortable bed. The full breakfast available in the dining room had everything anyone could ask for from hot porridge through to bread and butter pudding with whipped cream. The location was perfect for our needs. On check-in/check-out I was attended by Luis who was so friendly and welcoming and from that experience the rest of our stay was superb. Everything is in the reach of a 20-min walk. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful and gave us thorough instructions of where to go, how to go, where to eat and shop and so on. The apartment itself was very comfy and clean, the building has a heating pool and even a sauna, which we used several times. The area seemed safe, there are lots of eating places and shops nearby. All in all, we were very pleased with our choice.

Arrived Saturday afternoon so as to attend an even Saturday night. The hotel is in a great location, the apartment is spacious and has everything you might need, it is not super luxurious but is perfect for a city trip. The reception staff were marvellous, and extremely helpful. My visit to
Syd was to attend hospital appointments and it was a great relief to me
each day to know when treatments ended I was going back to my lovely
comfy room where I could just relax. I will definitely stay there the

Great location and view of Darling Harbour and Paddy's City Market. Although it is some distance to the Rocks and the Opera House, it is walkable and can see a lot of things on the way. The view from our room 4107 was absolutely fantastic! they had run out of rollaway beds ,but made up a bed for our daughter in the lounge which was just perfect for her to stay with us for a couple of nights.We loved your apples and the friendliness of all your staff even the cleaning ladies. We also loved the pool ,spa and sauna..Thank you for everything.

I had read the reviews after I had made my booking. I probably would never had booked after reading shoddy reviews.
Well, was I pleasantly suprised!
I stayed with my 15 year old daughter, and were on the 12th floor.
This place ticks all the boxes.
All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hair drier wasn't working in my room - house keeping replaced it straight away.

I know that a few people have commented about the description of a one-bedroom apartment vs a studio, but the layout was perfect for us with young children; decent size and very clean bathroom (no bath just shower), king size bed that is 'open' plan in an area or 'room' and then into the large combined kitchen, dining and lounge area with good size balcony.

The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was spacious, well appointed and had a balcony. It was cleaned and serviced every day. Location was very convenient to CBD, transport and shopping. The staff was lovely, very polite and attentive and I thoroughly reccommend Oaks. Central Station is very near which means one can hear the trains sounding
