  The setting was close to city and easy to walk to central station. The room was in and old style house and was great. The room was spotless and renovated recently. The cost was central budget but quality was excellent. The shower was boiling hot and again clean and spotless. The atmoshepre was great and noise was not an issue.   really good place for this price! we was lucky & the view from our window was exellent - Harbour Bridge & Opera House. we have come some hours before check-in but our room was ready. staff is very friendly, room & shower clean. great value for this money! - Its a good hotel near to all entertainment places.   Reception very helpful. Let us check in 6 hours early at no extra cost! Good location if you don't mind a little bit of leisurely walking. Computer in every single room fantastic. Free wifi which was really quick and useful. Shower/toilet communal area clean enough. Lots of complementary tea and coffee. The water was hot and the ensuite, while querky was functional. The free wi-fi worked very well with no fuss getting it going and there was even a computer in the room. Good value food was available close by and there was great coffee on the next block down.

  I stay here only 2 weeks but i love the staff and the friendly people! I leave the hostel because i have an appartment now but i return here every day!   This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The gentleman at the front desk (guy from Tonga) very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have whitel linens. Unlike any other hostel this one has sinful beds instead of bunk bed. Has clean big kitchen, tv room. Quiet most of the time. Love this place and gladly recomand. Yet few - Within walking distance of train station, hop on/hop off bus and ferry terminals, Seaworld/Madame Trusaud's/Wild World/Maritime Museum/Westfield Tower/Opera House. Clean, easy access, good shared bathroom/kitchen/free laundry. Good sized room with queen bed. Helpful staff. Good wifi in room.

  We liked the fact that the staff permitted us to use the shower and store our belongings prior to check in. We had arrived in Sydney from Darwin at 6am and could not check in until 2pm that day so we really appreciated the shower to freshen up. We have never been to Sydney before so we had no idea where we we going whilst we filled in the 6 hours awaiting to check in. If we ha - The hotel staff was great and always helpful. The location is simply amazing: 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour and the Star Casino! Our room was fairly big, hence the fact, I cannot understand people complaining on their reviews about the size of their room (maybe I was just lucky?!). The shared bathroom worked just fine, after all, nobody goes on a trip to stay closed in a bathroom do they?
