  Everything was Excellent. Friendly Warm Greeting by lovely staff. We stayed in room 60 which has a spa. Room is very large, small stove, microwave, Iron, Very comfortable bed. Just brilliant. When we stayed it was very windy and not a bit of rubbish anywhere. Well done especially for a place this size. Salt Water Pool, Gazebo and Bbq are immaculat... vad folk säger » e. Plenty of parking. All staff fantastic including housekeeping who couldn't do enough to help. We only live 30 minutes from here and will make this - Location was good, close to a couple of nice restaurants and the marina. We had a lovely sunny room in the morning and it was clean and comfy. Easy to book on line. A suggestion to you is to offer guets the choice of having their towels changed daily, or not. We were only their 2 nights and would have been very happy to have kept the original towels. Saving you unnessary cleaning charges and helping the enviroment.

  We enjoyed a relaxing week in a beautifully 2 bedroom apartment. (All apartments have been renovated excellent shower and very comfortable beds) Difficult to fault any aspect of our stay. The owners are very friendly and would do anything to help,(Family Business) the location is excellent close to everything. We will be back for another getaway ... vad folk säger » in the near future and would highly recommend Hervey Bay Colonial Lodge to family and friends. 10/10 - Kay,Peter and Michael were very friendly and helpful.We were scheduled to stay 3 nights ,but had to extend our stay by 2 more days ,as we were "trapped ' there due to the roads north and south being flooded following the aftermath of Cyclone Oswald. They kept us up to date with reports on road closures etc and local information. Excellent accommodation for good value and wifi included at no extra cost. Henry & Karen Doyle from the uk

  Only meters away from beach and shops it was clean with a newly renovated bathroom. Great value for money. Happy customer. - Very easy going, nothing was a problem, even arriving late to check in.

  Amazing place, really liked it there. Not in the town center (but only 5-10 minutes walk there) so it's quiet at night. Really friendly staff. Easy meet people there in the evening at the pool bar. - The staff was very friendly and helpful, it's awesome that you get free breakfast for that price.   Owner was so friendly and helped in everyway.Rang and booked tours for us. Always took time to stop and have a chat. Older style motel but lovely and clean, bed so comfy. We ended up staying 6 nights and wanted for nothing in the rooms. One tip the shower curtain must be inside the shower not outside or you w - The rooms are quite clean, comfortable & secure. Teena, our host was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She even offered me a lift to the airport after letting me stay for an extra hour at the hotel just so as it could coincide with my departing flight.I would stay here again without hesitation.   Awesome garden area with hamics, a bbq with tables and chairs etc. Huge guest kitchen with everything required should you wish to cook your own meals. Everything was very clean. Overall very reasonable for the price. - The grounds of the hostel are just beautiful. We arrived in the evening and the late checking service was well organised.

  Our stay at the Friendly Hostel was fantastic. Gary was immediately helpful and attentive when he picked me and my girlfriend up from the bus station.
