The friendly family atmosphere which you notice as soon as you walk through the door, the cleanliness throughout the hotel, including the bedrooms. The staff were so friendly, approachable and helpful which made my stay very pleasant. -

Booked a 1 bedroom apartment & was given a 2 bedroom 1 over looking the beach & it was absolutely fantastic with the greatest views including Broadbeach & Surfers. Very clean & had all the kitchen facilities you could ask for. Spa & Pool also great. Parking excellent & very secure,

The location couldn't have been better! Located directly across the
street from the beach and only 3 blocks from the main drag of shops and
restaurants it was the perfect location. The room itself (Ocean View)
had 4 terraces overlooking the Ocean and mountain views. The rooms were
all very large, clean, updated and well kept. Full kitchen and in unit
laundry was great as well! Very pleased with the room and hotel

Can not speak highly enough about Surfers Beach Resort One. Upon arrival, my girlfriend and I commented on the cleanliness of the apartment. It contained everything you would need if you were planning on being out and about for most of the day. Although the building contained many other apartments, you would be forgiven thinking you had the place to yourself, that's how quiet it is. A 15 minute walk from some great places to eat and shop. Great accommodation and close to GC airport. Stopped over night with my mum who's in her 70's and we were flying out next early morning. Whilst checking in to the motel the previous evening we enquired about taxis to the airport ... the manager of the motel very kindly offered to take us rather than calling a taxi...a great personal service... This was my second time in the last few weeks staying at Golden Shores and like the first stay it did not disappoint. It's proximity to everything(beach, airport & some good restaurants) is excellent as well as spotless comfortable rooms. It is all that you need for a short, well priced stay.
