Do not stay anywhere else!!
This is the perfection place to stay. Broadbeach is a real upmarket place with plenty of bars and restaurants. It is more low key and not as commercial as Surfers, which really suited us. Surfers is only a 30 minute walk along the beautiful beach. The staff at the Meriton are excellent. They helped with all our queries and booking trips and excursions. The wonderful sea view. I specifically requested a full on sea view and that is exactly what I got. It was superb. Also we could watch the children playing at the local school and of course at the playground across the road, both were lovely. Attention to detail in this hotel was incredible, even down to the gorgeous note paper in the rooms. The staff were articulate, beautifully groomed and nothing was any trouble. Just loved to be together and relax and unwind have a drink and a great meal then see the show then went back to the beautiful room then in morning we had a sensational meal in the flames cafe. The girls were so nice and helpful. It was my fiancees birthday. We are so busy with work and live apart from each other we definately hope to do it again

I liked the fact that you noticed it was my birthday on my comments when
booking my stay. I would like to thank you for the up grade to a one
bedroom apartment it was wonderful. I could watch tv if my husband
wanted to sleep. I liked the fact that the lady who serviced me on check-
in was super friendly and commented on my birthday and how young I
looked. Had a great time, the breakfast included in our room was very
good and also the staff were very helpful, thank you.

We loved our time at the Royal Palm. They sent an SMS to advise our room was ready and we checked in around 10am. This was great as we could then plan our day. The kids loved the pool. It was heated and had a spa and slide. It has direct access to the beach and has a great play park about 200m away. Easy access to the freeway as well and was about 25 mins to the theme parks. All in all we had a great time. Only downside was that we didn't have long enough. Could easily have stayed anothe

I would like to comment on the security personnel named Dion Hughes. He was very helpful and courteous. He helped to give directions on where to move around. -
We did like the pools and sauna and the place is close to the beach. It is in walking distance to the Skypoint observation deck and some restaurants.
