  Fantastic value for money - I was a bit worried because it was at such a low rate...but the rooms are big! It is very comfortable. Staff are helpful and 24 hrs. There are two pools, which was great for the kids. Restaurant, room service at night, and $8 cooked eggs for breakfast. We stayed in the most basic of rooms. However the "kitchenette" had... vad folk säger » everything, including an electric cooker, so really the only thing you are missing out on is an oven. It is certainly not brand new, but it is clean - 1. and out of the CBD which enabled us to have a peace and quietness during the days and nights for rest and sleep. 2. Fast & efficient check in and check out. 3. linkage and calls for taxi service. 4. Easy access to Esplanade walkway for walks, exercise and relaxation. 5. Swimming pool for apartments easily accessible and free for my children, and not crowded. 6 Very convenient apartments for family my size.

  all of the categories were excellent, the staff were exceptional, proactive and offering assistance without being asked; dealt with non-responsive credit card chip politely and quickly; accommodated unusual check in and out times without a hitch. Always feel valued customer here ( and also at the Sheridan St BW where I have also staye. Location opposite Central SC suits very well, and security - Very impressed as soon as I walked in the room. Definitely value for money with the convenience of being in the heart of the city.   The full kitchen and laundry facilities, close to everything. Modern facilities, nice pool (a lot of hotels in Cairns are very dated from the 1980s tourist boom I think). There was a mix-up when we were checking in and we were quoted a much higher price than we booked, but for a Harbourview room. We ended up getting a Harbour view room anyway but ... vad folk säger » paying a really great price! Loved the view and the location. Also, they provide all eco-products for laundry, dish-washing etc., not just the standar - Great location. Right beside the marina and very close to the city. Lots of choices of nice restaurants just downstairs. Staff are extremely helpful. Helped us with all the bookings of shuttle bus and site visits. The studio hotel apartment was great value of money. The ocean view from the balcony was fantastic. Can't wait to come back to Harbour Lights for our next Cairns holiday!

  It was our 2nd staying at the property and we enjoyed pretty much for twice accommodation there. It is a little bit different service style comparing with the big deluxe hotels, all the staffs here were all looking after us like family member, which made us feeling “ home away from home”. All - The location of the Bay Tree Hotel was perfect for our tansfer from the airport, the boat to Green Island for snorkelling and the Skytrain / Karunda rainforest expererience. The staff at the hotel desk were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Breakfast by the pool on a nice sunny morning was perfect and added to our holiday. The room was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed, the confortable bed and the well equipped bathroom with walk in shower was very acceptable.

  The swim-out apartment was spacious and clean. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry equipments were in good condition. Craig, one of the reception staffs there, was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us many information about the day trips to Daintree rain forest and the ship cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, etc. The Apartment is quite q... vad folk säger » uiet as it is located near the end of the Esplanade away from the restaurants and pubs, but still it's just ~10-15min walk to the city centre - Excellent place to stay in Cairns. 10-15 minutes walk into the town centre.   I was surprised at how modern the inside decor and furniture was. Very clean with everything a person would want for a long family stay.   We stayed in a 4th floor apartment that two bedrooms. The main bedroom had its own en-suite with shower, spa and toilet. There was a second bathroom with shower & toilet next to the second bedroom. The apartment was spotless and very well "laid out". The view from the balcony was great. I guess the views from the 5th floor upwards would be bet... vad folk säger » ter. I would recommend 181 to anyone, and I would stay there again in the future. - 181 Located just far enough away from the busy esplanade area too relax and enjoy the awesome weather and food Cairns has to offer. The apartments are large and spacious and met all our requirements. The owners were of great assistance with our daily activity's and knowledge of the area. We have no hesitation in returning.
