  Prices were very good. The location was great since that it was right where the bus stops were that picked you up for your tours. Staff was incredibly helpful when I accidentally booked the wrong sort of room for our stay.   Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.

This hotel/motel was very clean and well laid out (as good as a new building) with swimming pool, breakfast area with the option for a cooked meal - continental provided, spacious outdoor lounge and BBQ area. Although on a main thoroughfare our room was toward the back of the hotel and noise was not a problem. Exceptionally friendly staff concluded an excellent stay!

  My room is 306, the room is clean, tidy and pretty quiet too. I like it very much! The reception ladies are friendly and helpful. But only one person to serve in the evening time seems under pressure.   We chose Rainbow inn for the price and then when we got there we loved the hotel, The staff were friendly and welcoming, The room was perfect for us and we walked straight out our door to the pool and spa area which is just so inviting.   Great place. If you're looking for somewhere to party & have a laugh then this is the place. Stayed in a four bed room with an ensuite shower & toilet which were cleaned everyday.   Receptionist was great, we left clothing behind and she called to make sure we didn't want it. Very clean, nice room and balcony. Great pool area. Used the laundry facilities but it rained so was good to have the balcony to dry it. Walked to a pizza place for dinner and there was other places within walking distance. Relaxing. The Staff were kind, courteous, helpful and always well mannered. Our room and Linen were kept clean and tidy at all times.   Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip of Cairns, but within walking distance to the esplanade, shops and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff who recommended some nice tours. Clean premises and well planned layout with plenty of toilets, showers, kitchens and common areas to relax. Considering Cairns's standards, this hostel raises up quite a bit! Friendly but still quiet, and just a 10 minutes stroll to downtown. Great! - I stayed here for one week, the staff are really helpful and friendly, when I arrival cairns, they pick me up from bus station immediately. the kitchen is amazing, you can get any stuff you want. the room is very clean and tidy, the bed and pillow is very soft. I stay here like staying at home. it's the best backpacker I have been to.
