  I had booked 2 rooms for ourselves and friends months ahead as was the last place to visit from our overseas trip and we didn't want to spend a large amount on accommodation so booked double rooms that were on offer at a reasonable price.We were visiting family most of the time but our friends were there for a holiday.On arrival our friends were a... vad folk säger » dvised that no double rooms were available and asked if 2 singles were suitable, they were not impressed but we didn't mind as after spending 13 hour - Close to airport - clean and more then adequate for overnight stay. Staff was very friendly, other customers where chatting and having a great time in the common room, so the atmosphere also felt good. With access to the internet and a printer it made it easy to complete my online checkin for my plane flight the next day. Ensuite, TV and climate control.   The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough aw... vad folk säger » ay from any street noise. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

  The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The apartment was spacious and furnished decently. The location is very convenient to the city- 1km walk to SouthBank Parklands and 2km walk into the city. - Close proximity to all facilities.   Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The room was large, very clean, the shared bathroom down the hall, which is usually the wo... vad folk säger » rst part of any hostel, was spotless. The restaurant was very well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was very good. - The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there, my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!
