  Very close to beach, and marina, shops, places to eat ( great variety to choose from) public transport. A supermarket and bakery were within a few minutes walk and there were lovely big parks across the road and at the side of the block. The pool and spa were great, warm without being too hot. We were lucky enough to have a ocean view..bonus!! - great room, and very friendly staff -especially as letsbookhotel.com stuffed up the booking. Staff at the oaks were technically fully booked but found us a terrific 9th floor apartment with great views for our entire 5 day stay (and serviced daily.

  We always stay at the Oaks Plaza Pier. The Oaks Pier is very modern, with an ocean view & world class restaurants at the doorstep. The Pier Bar is a great place to drink bubbles, wine or beer & watch the sun setting over the ocean. You can catch the tram into the city for great shopping, checking out the Art Gallery, Museum, Adelaide Oval ... vad folk säger » (when it's completed it will be awesome) etc. or drive on to the wine regions at McLaren Vale, Barrossa Valley or Clare Valley (only an 1 hour away) h - Large clean rooms with good facilities. We had booked a few different room types as friends were joining us and the staff were very helpful and organised our multiple bookings efficiently. Seaview rooms are particularly good as they are quieter than the garden view rooms and are worth the extra cost. If we came back to Adelaide we'd definitely stay here again

  Very clean and well appointed. Very nice kitchen for self catering. Liked the snack packs - a life saver (!) and the plunger coffee was wonderful - a nice touch. The flats were so central to everything. We hired a car but didn't need it while in Adelaide itself - only when we went to the Barossa Valley.   From the moment we arrived until that when we left we were made to feel welcome and valued. The staff were most attentive, but at the same time unobtrusive, and carried out their duties in a most professional manner. The room was comfortable and contained everything that we needed. The restaurant was first class - and even though I have a food ... vad folk säger » intolerance issue the staff were sufficiently caring to ensure that I did not suffer any ill effects. - The location is very convenient to town and major tram routes. Nice décor with an old-world feel in the lobby and public areas. The rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate for a couple. Staff were attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. The Restaurant (and the service there) is excellent. Was only there for a shortish business break so didn't use the pool/gym and can't comment on those.

  Went to Adelaide with friends to go to the cricket and the motel was in a great location, close to Adelaide Oval, city centre and shops, and close to tram/railway station for use of public transport. Great facilities and room was clean and fresh. Great indoor pool/spa/gym area. Friendly and helpful staff. Having a full kitchen and washing machine was great when travelling with a toddler. Our package stated not serviced due to the cheap price, but our room was serviced every day anyway - nice surprise. The hotel is central to everything - we left the car in the carpark and walked to the zoo and around the city on several days.

  We booked a two room deluxe apartment, as advised we called Kevin prior to arrival and asked if we could store baggage earlier than check in time. Kevin was most agreeable and organised to meet us there. Kevin arrived at the hotel on time was very courteous and welcoming. Close to all transport options just walk out the door one minute walk to tram - Centrally located, close to all transport and shopping, with exceptional view over the city from room 1402. Reception staff at desk downstairs excellent - full of helpful advice, and went the extra mile for us on numerous occasions. Room was modern and very comfortably furnished. Dipti met us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable.

  The view from our balcony was absolutely beautiful! We had a lovely big spa bath as well, so nice to come back to the apartment and have a bubble bath and a glass of wine. There was initially a mix up with our rooms but the staff promptly provided a solution and even gave us late check-out, we were very impressed! - Very helpful and friendly staf... vad folk säger » f. Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with all amenities we required. Excellent location. Have visited Adelaide twice and stayed here both times. Would not stay anywhere else.   The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The apartment was spacious. Care was taken to explain how the parking system worked, and this was easy to understand. The view to the coast was marvellous. The wet areas were sparking clean and the room facilities were modern and easy to use.   Many rooms had a lovely view of the airfield but it is quite a quiet area and felt very safe. The restaurants and cafes nearby were excellent and very child friendly. The rooms were very large and stayed warm at night even with the Air-con turned off and outsi - Nice apartment, staff were friendly and very helpful. Was a good location for us as near our friends who we went to visit. it is about a $30 cab to CBD or there is a train station close by. We wanted to spend last day in the city and the hotel organised for the CBD quest to mind our baggage so we didn't need to come back before heading to airport. Mawson Lakes is very nice too.
