  This is the best bed and breakfast on the island! Gaston, the owner, is a wonderful host and comes to greet you at the door with his dog Griffin. Before arriving, he sends you a confirmation e-mail with directions to the property, if you are renting a car, or offering to pick you up from the airport if you are not. We stayed in room #4, which was right by the pool and the scenic view - Breakfast was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very private (covered with beautiful, lush greenery) and is tucked away in a residential area. If you are looking to be right in the center of everything -- this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a very peaceful retreat from all the hustle and bustle, this is the place to go!   Amazing Staff! It was the best experience at a hotel so far. The host went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, even offering to drop me off at the airport for cheaper than a taxi.   The owner Joey , his uncle the cleaning staff were great. Very nice and very friendly people. I felt at home and very safe. The location of the apartment was perfect.   This place was just what I was looking for: inexpensive, convenient, clean and comfortable. Stephan was a great host. Everything was working in excellent order. The bed was as comfortable a bed as I have slept on, the water pressure was powerful and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed and even a pop-up toaste... vad folk säger » r, a nice touch. The air conditioning was quiet and COLD! Nothing really negative to say. - We stayed at Pauline's one night while waiting for a plane flight home. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. The owner, Stephan, could not have been more accommodating. He picked us up at the airport, drove us to a restaurant and then drove us back to the airport the next day. He was very personable and easy to talk to. He is just a great guy. The price is exceedingly reasonable. I highly recommend Pauline's.
