  Staff were very kind and helpful. They organiced my tour to a Tango place. Obelisco Center Hotel is very well located. Close to all the interesting places to visit in Buenos Aires. My room was very quiet but, as I expected, The Obelisk coulden't be seen from it. The room, the bathroom and decoration were a bit old and oldfashioned. Steps from Florida Street, the Obelisk, Colon theatre, etc. The hotel is clean and comfortable but don't expect luxury of any kind.   Helpful staff - Carlos at the front desk was wonderful! He got taxis for us and was very helpful with dining suggestions and questions about safety in the city. All the staff were polite and helpful. The location was excellent for shopping, restaurants and explaining to taxis where to drop us for the hotel.

The buffet breakfast that is included is very good also. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean.

  Great location 2 blocks from Teatro Colon. Many restaurants on major pedestrianized street one block behind hotel and small grocery stores nearby. Classic old building with balconies and extensive decorative molding inside and out, marble stairs, etc.. We felt like royalty—or at least up - This place is amazing for the price. I hesitated to book it because it was so cheap, I thought it could be too basic, but I couldn't believe how lovely it was. I only went ahead with a booking because of the other reviews, and was so happy I did. Even breakfast was included. I would have paid double and been just as happy! It's also really centrally located, ideal spot for exploring Buenos Aires. The staff were great, especially Francisca.
