  We've been very fortunate in enjoying great travel. No hotel in the world, for us, compares to the Alvear. It is perfect in every way - the rooms, services, dining.   We booked 2 nights and ended up staying an extra night. We are not big soccer fans but booked tickets to a game at the Boca Stadium on 24 May and wanted to stay at the hotel to have the full Boca experience (why not?). Great desk staff, superb rooms, good breakfast, good location handy to the subways and walking distance to other sites.

Loved the interior decorating, the designer and architect really took some time to think about the esthetics as it gave it a sleek modern look. The also offer an excellent lunch for a fair price (cheaper then restaurants in general).

  Very friendly staff. Apartments are brand new, and are exactly as the pictures. Beds were fantastic. Huge King size bed. Very comfortable. Large rooms. Some units have great views of the city.   From reading other reviews before we chose Galarias Hotel, other reviewers mentioned that the entrance to the hotel is on a small narrow street. This is true, but it is just a half a block west of a main shopping pedestrian walkway. If you like being in the daily hustle- bustle of the locals, this is a good spot.
