It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. Booked one of the larger rooms and it was a good choice. The staff were helpful and room cleaning was great. The location is decent, right near the subway with a few shops nearby for groceries. It was nice to have a large suite to relax in. -

Great location around Recoleta. Very close to many tourist attractions such as the Recoleta Cemetery and Teatro Colon. Friendly staff, most spoke English very well. Breakfast was minimal but enjoyable because there were no time constraints. I highly recommend a restaurant down the street called 'Cumana'-- try the locro! -

It´s in the middle of the major tourist attractions and if you´re up to some walking you hardly ever have to reach for a taxi.

The hotel was fabulous. Loved the interior decorating, the designer and architect really took some time to think about the esthetics as it gave it a sleek modern look. The staff were all very professional and helpful (thankyou Sergo - the overnight guy) he recommended

The staff were always very helpful and nice when answering questions.
Everything was clean and the hydro massage bathtub was amazing,
specially after a long day walking. The breakfast was delicious as well
and they have variaty of choices to eat. The also offer an excellent
lunch for a fair price (cheaper then restaurants in general).

The breakfast was very fine, the only problem was the small space in the first floor, So we had to have breakfast one day in the 2nd floor wich didn't have all the options for breakfast as in the 1st floor.
Jacuzzi was very spaceful -
One young man spoke excellent English and was very helpful.
