The hotel was good but near the hotel's door there was people drunk all the time.
Very inexpensive. The bed was comfortable and there was a sink in the room. Everything was clean - if there were bathrooms in each room, this would be a hotel! We will stay here again!
Fairly aggressive bums outside, especially at night. Pretty noisy thanks to construction and the bums (however, we read about this and brought earplugs and it was fine!)

The location was great, just a few blocks from the inner city and Market street with all the shopping and transportation services. The staff was very friendly. And the price of course!
The hostel is situated on a very unfriendly street. Do not walk alone in the evenings!! We even found a dead cockroach in the shower when we arrived, and when we left - it was still there.

The hotel is close to Downtown sf.
Although near the downtown, the region's hotel is frequented by many homeless and junkies.

The hostel was appalling. It was in the worst neighborhood which we weren't told about. It looked like a prison and the staff were very rude. We stayed one night as it was really late and then immediately left the next morning. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone unless you want to be too scared to step outside

- Wireless did not work! - only PayTv! - Loud! - A lot of homeless people in this area. Feeled quite unsafe walking around with my girlfriend.
