An exquisite and exclusive spot, we loved the inn and would rate it with an extra plus if we could! Rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the bathroom was top notch. It was only a step or two across the hall and private so just like an ensuite really! The location is right in the heart of the city. The staff were all really friendly with helpful advice about the town ... And the breakfasts were amazing! We highly recommend the New Inn for a unique and memorable stay!. все обзоры »
This charming Inn with authentic character offered sustained friendliness, warm hospitality, first class facilities including a really comfortable bed, attention to detail, easy access to city amenities, a gorgeous and relaxing garden with views of the Cathedral and a stress-free stay topped off with a great breakfast provided at the time of our naming to suit our travels.
The New Inn is charming, with excellent customer service. It is located
centrally to the Cathedral, and other places of interest in the city.
Charming, good food, good staff, quaint but providing all the modern
conveniences. I would surely recommend to anyone wanting a place with
comfort and character.
Very friendly helpful staff. Beautiful lively pub, great food and beer. Very pretty garden with Cathedral view. We had an early start on the day of departure and breakfast was made for us at 7.30am. Really fantastic, would stay here again.
lovely old pub with beams and original features. A beer garden which was beautifully lit with views of Salisbury Cathedral. Good local ales. Warm and clean rooms with comfy bed and shower room. Friendly staff..WiFi available to residents.
All staff at the New Inn were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The rooms were comfortable and although the private bathroom for each room is across a corridor it was no trouble as we had ample privacy.
Really friendly staff, a lovely old building and interesting room.
On a separate note, I left my trainers in the room which Tom quickly posted back to me. He didn't make me feel like a pain either. Excellent experience all round.
The atmosphere and history of this 11th century inn is amazing. Also a fantastic rear garden with views of its next door neighbour Salisbury Cathedral.
Owner Toby and his staff very helpful, great pub, clean and tidy and
well organised. Location is perfect positioned in an upmarket part
of the town.
Old worldly charm. Great breakfasts. Fantastic staff and service. Terrific location. The pub has a fascinating history. Amazing value for money.
The hotel was very inviting and the oldie feeling of the Inn was what
was advertised. The staff where polite, helpfull and willing to assist.
Beutiful cozy inn, great staff, clean nice rooms, good food, and good beer everthing thing spot on and would stay again without hesitation.
Was able to eat in the bar, evening food was good. Breakfast was excellent. Was able to work in the bar in the morning, very flexible.
Very nice Olde World Type Inn, superb breakfast, nice bar atmosphere.
Very close to city centre amenities and cathedral.
Ancient pub which is centrally located, our room look as though it was out of Country Life - charming and comfy.
A lovely old inn with character. Very comfortable bed, great bathroom, great location.

Everything.
located just 5-10 mins walk from downtown. Authentic 14 C Inn with large garden open to public. relaxing atmosphere. Staff friendly, helpful. Breakfast served with sensitivity to the guests personal plans. Bathroom amenities excellent.Rooms well cleaned.
We didn't stay longer.
As I am all elbows when showering I found the shower a little small but I'm being picky!.
Parking is a bit of a hassle.
Car park not on site but at least one is available close by in another
hotel for $10.00 per night.
Lack of iron and electrical outlets. Instructions for visitors in the room such as wi-fi connection etc.
No car park.
Had to get up to feed parking meter as no parking at inn but not a problem really just a short walk.
Parking is a problem , as is unloading suitcases, you have to chance
parking on double yellow lines whilst checking in. Car parks are near
and free between 6-00pm and 8-00am, So you have to get up early to
obtain a parking ticket at car park, nearest one is about 500 yards
away.Bar prices perhaps a little bit dearer than you would expect £3-60
for lager.
Outdated dinner menu, but loads of good options nearby....so up to them really, whether they want to lure people to eat with them.
Nothing.
External bathroom.
Some traffic noise.
The bathrooms were outside of the room. But you are supplied with a bathrobe. (It did state this in the booking details).
The fact the stairs were quite steep & the hot water in the basin never seemed to arrive in the baisin.
Nothing- exactly as advertised.
Parking prices in Salisbury are pretty high but nothing to do
with the hotel.
Too much noise from the street.
Nothing to dislike.
All three rooms are located immediately atop the pub and restaurant area which is very popular with locals. Noise from the pub continued on until well past midnight.
