Set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, The Gables Bed & Breakfast is surrounded by stunning views of Derwent Valley. Newly renovated, it has free parking on-site and free Wi-Fi access. Each of the rooms within The Gables has its own unique design and features a TV, a fantastic garden view and an en suite bathroom with a shower. A breakfast is served within the dining room in the morning. Using locally-sourced ingredients, guests have a selection of continental and traditional dishes available to them. Vegetarian options are also on offer. Within the heart of the Peak District, local attractions include Gulliver’s Kingdom, which is 7 minutes’ drive away. Also nearby are the Heights of Abraham and The Masson Caves, less than 3 miles away.

Sue & John were very attentive at all times, We stayed in the Derwent suite which was very spacious and comfortable, with a top speck bathroom. Excellent guest lounge where tea & home made cake was served on arrival ( very nice !!!!!! ) Good view's over Matlock Bath. all in all a very pleasant stay. Thank's to Sue & John *****. Gorgeous setting. Lovely couple who were helpful and attentive. Spotless rooms and a few extra special touches: tea and cake on arrival, home-made biscuits in room.
