I have staid a number of times at this hotel. The floors a very creaky and there are a lot of stair, sometimes going down to go up again. The shower rooms are also a bit of a challenge if you of average build or bigger. On the whole the hotel is good value for money and with the location I don't think you could reasonable expect more

Location is excellent for Heathrow Express. Staff were helpful storing my luggage and even carrying bag to my room on 2nd floor. Room was small to be expected but was pleasantly surprised to find soap, shampoo, tea & coffee facilities included.
The location, the room was very clean if a bit small, and the bath room look as if it had been refurbished and also very clean. The breakfast was great, so nice to have waitress served, very rare these days even in the expensive hotels.
The corridor leading to the room was dirty and tired looking. The gents toilet door in the corridor was very grubby. It just needs a little TLC

Well I likevthevbreakfast set up but if you stay a week it may be boring add a little spice or rather spice it up.What I really appreciated is the fact they my luggage is stored thank you.

Alot of stairs - I didn't mind this too much but my real complaint was the shower - totally unusable as there is simply NO SPACE to stand in it! Also no coat pegs or anywhere to hang anything.
The price, location, helpfulness of the staff for directions & suggesting places off interest to go and see, the full English breakfast included in the room rate plus being leave my case with them before getting a train home late evening.
The en-suite was a bit small, but it did the job.

Great location - 20 meters from Paddington train and underground station, a lot of pubs/restaurants in that area. Quiet close to Hyde-Park, shopping area and city center. Clean hotel, towels changed daily, continental or english breakfast is ok.
Old hotel, small rooms, facilities are old. Lift is constantly broken. Still it's a good hotel for budget stay.

The decor needs a facelift. could do with a lift or have porter service as cases were hard to get up the stairs.

have to say enjoyed stay..tour bus right outside the hotel,,and as we came to see the sights was perfect,,was handy also with two tired boys to be dropped right beside hotel...
the smell of the kitchen fans out side the window..our loo also didnt flush.

I was delighted it is so close to Paddington Station and open for checking in later in the evening. Bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water and breakfast included was more than adequate. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
Lift was not working and stairs are steep.
This hotel exceeded our expectations considering it's rating. Its easy access to Paddington station makes it an ideal place to stay in London if you want a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom.

Excellent breakfast with a choice of either English or Continental. The location right next to Paddington station. Grocery shops, pubs and restaurants all next door.
Wifi would have cost £5 per day, £2 per hour. No thanks! Rather use the free wifi available in pubs nearby.
Excellent location close to paddington station and buses so easy to carry luggage. Stayed here last year and this time had a larger room with a bath which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was great although we did have to wait for seating on the third day. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels.
The guy on reception on our arrival was quite rude and unhelpful. Expensive WiFi - which was very slow. Room facing street was noisy at night - we did ask for a quiet room. No fridge in room. Elevator still not working.
